This weblog samples scientific articles and news releases on land and people in East Africa. It provides a backgrounder for University of Alberta staff and students visiting the region and a starting point for a socioenvironmental study centered on the new Aga Khan University campus in Arusha, Tanzania. It complements disciplinary weblogs dealing with sustainability science, academic globalization, ungulate biology and rangelands systems dynamics.
